"I want to lose weight but I have no idea where to start"
What should I be doing if I want to lose weight?
A question I get asked a lot - which is totally fair. At the end of the day I am a fitness coach so it is totally valid!!
Here's the thing - it’s impossible to answer without knowing the person's personal situation and what they have done in the past as well as what injuries they have, what dietary requirements they have.
There's so much more to it then I think people are aware of - this comes down to the use of social media in my opinion. Social media has had a huge effect on people's attitude towards what weight loss is and what it entails.
I feel like people expect it to be easy and a simple process.
While yes, it isn't a super complicated process - it won't be a walk in the park because if it was, everyone would be doing it.
Hard work and dedication is what will get you the results you’re after.
As well as this, you have got to have the mental resilience and the mindset to make the change.
Adopting this will get you so far on your journey. Constantly improving your mentality is an absolute must and is something that is so often overlooked by people.
But I promise - the real transformation starts when you accept that your mentality has to change.
