Self care is key...
How much time do you spend on yourself a week?
If you don't know the answer off the top of your head then chances are, it's not enough.
I know life gets in the way and the first thing to go when you’re busy is yourself, but do not underestimate just how detrimental that can be.
If you stop focusing on you and yourself the chances are, not only will you suffer, but the people around you will too.
We naturally put other people around us first, but should we ?
We should be focusing on ourselves and what serves us.
If we’re not at our best, how can we expect to be the best version of ourselves?
The thing is self care doesn't have to be a big grand routine.
It can be as small as grabbing a book and reading 10 pages of it.
It can be going for a walk and grabbing a coffee
It could be having a bath on a random Tuesday evening.
Bottom line is self care isn't selfish and it's something that is often overlooked by people.
