Ozempic on facebook marketplace?? 

Yep you read that correctly…

I saw someone selling ozempic on facebook marketplace. 

I saw it and thought, surly not?!? Surly this is some kind of joke or wind up!

Now I’m not anti ozempic, it's a drug that diabetics need and people rely on it. 

But what I am anti is it becoming so readily available and people being able to get a hold of it on facebook bloody marketplace.

It’s sad, as someone who has had an eating disorder in the past I would have fallen victim to buying it to push myself to an even more drastic and dangerous level of thinness. 

The sad thing is, so many people will be buying it because they are desperate to achieve faster weight loss and it breaks my heart. 

People are voluntarily injecting a substance into their body with no idea of the side effects or the long term effects all to look a bit thinner. 

The sad reality is we are headed down a slippery slope of diet culture becoming more present in day to day life. 

The more this happens, the more worrying it becomes. 

While yes, you will lose weight on ozempic, what else are you losing ?
