Low Calorie Foods are ruining your progress...

Someone had to say it!

Usually, when people come to me to transform their bodies, they tell me they’ve tried to eat less and do ‘the whole calorie deficit thing’.

They’re choosing the lowest calorie options when they’re out for dinner, picking groceries depending on the number on the packet, and opting for things that have been marketed by the huge corporations as ‘good for you’…

But it’s really important to know that just because something is ‘low calorie’ doesn’t mean it is always the best option for you!

Everything you see online is all about Calories in vs Calories out.

But what people fail to remember is your body needs good quality sources of energy.

We need energy to tackle our day head on 💪🏼

We need energy to function 🤓

We need energy to look after ourselves 🧖🏼‍♀️

We need energy to go about our day 🔋

Without that energy, we can’t complete our daily tasks ❌

Ask yourself this…

Would you run your car on an empty tank?

Of course not, because it wouldn’t go anywhere, and it’s not safe.

Your body is no different - It’s actually more important!

Sure, low calorie foods have less calories in them, technically meaning you can eat more other foods throughout the day, but they won’t always give you the best in terms of fuelling or fullness.

And if a food doesn’t fill you up or leave you satisfied until your next meal, you’re just going to snack in between.

Meaning that the thought of eating less calories is now wasted because you’ve eaten more in total…

Wouldn’t you rather eat something that fulfils you, satisfies you, is delicious and *actually* does the job, rather than eating bland food that usually doesn’t taste good, for the sake of a lower number?

Wouldn’t you rather genuinely fuel your body in the way it’s asking to be fuelled?

I know I would, and I think you would too 🫶🏼
