The gym can feel really overwhelming.

Feeling overwhelmed in the gym?

I’m about to give you a simple workout that you can do in under an hour.

You're gonna start by jumping on a piece of cardio equipment for 10 minutes - while you’re doing this I want you to suss out where the dumbbell rack is. Once you have done so and you have finished your warm up, I want you to head over to the dumbbell rack and complete the following.

4 sets of 10 dumbbell squats - make sure you hit parallel at the bottom of each rep. Take 60 seconds rest between each set.

3 sets of 10-12 dumbbell bent over row - make sure you keep your core tight and pinch your shoulder blades. Once again I want you to take 60 seconds of rest between each set. I want this to continue throughout the workout.

3 sets of 20 reverse lunges - Keep the core tight and make sure you don’t overextend the back leg when you go down. Alternate the legs on each rep.

3 sets of seated shoulder press - shoulder press is one of my favourite upper body movements.

3 sets of dumbbell glute bridges - now these burn !

Finally - to finish, please complete 3 sets of 15 crunches.

Once you’ve done this, you have a workout in under 60 minutes that can be done in the corner of the gym.
