This Is Why You Binge...

Hint: it's not what you think

Skipping breakfast is causing you to binge.

If you feel called out by that, then there is a high likelihood you need to read on.

You’re too busy.

You’re not hungry.

You don’t have time.

I’ve heard it all before.

The single biggest problem I see in women is they skip breakfast and grab a coffee on the way to work, and come 11 o’clock they’re feeling the pinch of not eating before they left the house.

Now this seems like a really small thing but the effects to has on you are enormous, let me explain.

6:30am: you wake up.

7:30am: leave the house for work.

8:00am: you grab said coffee at Starbucks on your morning commute.

8:30am: you arrive at work and meet your co workers in the staff room. Sally from HR offers you a biscuit, you decline because you’re ‘being good’.

9:00am: your first meeting of the day, you’re not focusing because you’re starting to think about the sandwich you want at lunch time.

10:30am: meeting finishes.

11:00am: you start to feel hungry - you ignore it.

12:00pm: your co-workers go to lunch - you decline. You’re trying your best to elongate the widow that you eat because you saw on TikTok that fasting increases fat loss.

1:00pm: you’re so hungry you leave to go to your local Pret, thinking about that sandwich.

1:15pm: you arrive at Pret, you notice the calories on the sandwich. You see it as a waste of calories. You get the salad instead.

2:00pm: you’ve eaten the salad, it wasn’t filling and left you unsatisfied.

3:00pm: your co-worker offers you a second biscuit - you want it. You decline.

5:00pm: you leave work.

6:00pm: you’re home, your partner wants a take away. You think ‘Fuck it, I’ve been good all day…’

8:00pm: You smashed the takeaway, half a share bag of buttons, a brownie and a glass of wine.

9:00pm: you go to bed feeling like shit. Before you wake up to do it all over again because you know no different.

I can tell you one thing for sure…

All of this happened because you didn’t eat breakfast.

If you ate first thing in the morning and ate the things you enjoyed in moderation, none of the above would happen and you would actually start seeing progress.

So here are your options:

You can stay stuck in the cycle hoping it will work and waiting for change

Or you can take charge, take your life in your own hands, and make the change yourself.

Your choice - but if you’re ready to get rid of the late-night binge and start seeing results without saying no to the break room biscuits…
